Bastards of Kingsgrave returns to the Madokaverse, this time providing spoiler filled discussion of the third movie: Rebellion. We debate whether it lives up to the high standard of the TV series and try to predict where they will go from here. In the aftershow, we talk more about Kyubey and the TV series, along with some more Anime North 2014 chat.

Episode 38: Anime and Manga Corner I

Bastards of Kingsgrave returns to our anime and manga roots, hosting the first of our general Anime and Manga corners. Joined by Vassals of Kingsgrave Bill (Mrkorb) and Bing (Shoeshiner), we cover the recent release of Sailor Moon Crystal. In manga, we mainly discuss two series: Koe no Katachi and My Girl (the panel above is from My Girl).  In the aftershow, we explain where Usagi Drop went horribly wrong, and discuss sexism and some other problems that exist within the general anime and manga fandom.
